Holidays Are Over – Now Its Down To Business!

holidays

holidaysHi again and sorry for the lack of content over the past few weeks.

The school holidays is now over and I can now focus on my product creation! I did try to add some posts to send on a schedule but we have had real problems with our internet provider (TalkTalk). Download speeds of just 0.2mbps! I couldn’t even log in to my site to write anything.

Then we were away for 2 weeks camping and got back to find that the internet has so far been behaving itself…… 🙂

This is a photo of Salcombe Mouth (in Devon) which is just by the campsite we were staying at. We walked down to the beach from the campsite – 154 steps I think it was!

Paddy loves the sea but the waves were a bit rough and now that she is 11 years old she gets scared of them or she forgets altogether in her excitement and ends up being drawn down under the waves. We had to put her on a lead here because there were 3 ladies swimming in the sea further along the beach and Paddy seemed to think that they were in distress and tried rescuing them!

Cute Story

As you all know I have 2 disc prolapses and have been doing back exercises to gently heal the injury. Therefore I was very careful not to do anything too fast in case I agrevated them. So the first time we walked to the beach I stayed at the top of the cliff rather than try the steps – I was going to build up to that gradually! The others carried on down the steps.

Well about 5 minutes later Paddy reappeared looking for me. I thought she would then go on down the steps knowing that I was fine and staying put but she didn’t. She just sat down at my feet and wouldn’t go down even when I told her too!

I was really touched! It was as if she wanted to stay and protect me knowing that I would have loved to go down but couldn’t because of my back. She was so cute! Usually she bombs down these steps desparate for a swim! Our pets understand a lot more than we give them credit for.

After 2 days I did go down to the beach and managed the steps fine with only a bit of pain so things are looking up!

Anyway, I am now getting ready to launch my first product…..

Hope you all had a great Summer.
